Our food trays have a poly lining which acts as a barrier against grease or moisture penetration, so the tray remains intact when used to serve cakes or takeaway meals.

Food trays have a range of applications & are used across numerous industries including bakery, fastfood & catering businesses. The food trays are often lined with foil or greaseproof paper to serve hot chips or fried fish, & are used in conjunction with paper bags to serve cake slices, biscuits or fastfood meals mentioned above.

Our food trays aka “cake trays” are made from food grade board, which means that it won’t contaminate food that comes into contact with it. The cake trays are packed in air-tight packs to prevent the penetration of dirt or other contaminants during transport & storage.

Food trays are often purchased with plastic cutlery, paper serviettes & plastic carry bags to facilitate convenient transport & conumption of the meal item. We also carry other types of food packaging that can be used in conjunction with our food trays, or as an alternative. Foam containers are preferable where heat retention is important or where there is limited scope for food to go soggy. Hot chip cups might also be appropriate depending on the nature of the establishment & the portion size.
